Harry Brook, the 26-year-old batter is the next big thing in England batting, and is tipped to take over as the skipper of the team in white-ball formats. “I have made the very difficult decision to pull out of the upcoming IPL. I apologize unreservedly to the Delhi Capitals and their supporters,” Brook wrote on social media.

I know not everyone will understand, and I don’t expect them to, but I have to do what I believe is right and playing for my country remains my priority and focus.”
England Batter Faces Two-year Ban Now
After the IPL 2025, the caravan for the Indian team will move to red-ball cricket, where they will be up against a strong English side in their own backyard. Coming back to Brook, he had withdrawn from the IPL 2024 also, when he was in SRH, due to the death of his grandmother.
