Fews days are remaining for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and the preparation are coming to an end. ICC has revealed a list of match official who will be part of the CT 2025. 15 match offical has beennamed with three match referees.
The tournament will be held across four renowned venues: Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi in Pakistan, along with Dubai in the UAE, from February 19 to March 9.
Richard Kettleborough is also on the list, having officiated major matches such as the last Champions Trophy final and the India vs Australia ODI World Cup 2023 final in Ahmedabad.
Kettleborough, an experienced official with 108 Men’s ODIs to his name, will be joined by fellow umpires Chris Gaffaney, Kumar Dharmasena, Richard Illingworth, Paul Reiffel, and Rod Tucker, all of whom also officiated in the 2017 Champions Trophy. Dharmasena, with 132 ODIs under his belt, holds the record for the most ODIs officiated by a Sri Lankan umpire and will continue his streak in the upcoming tournament.
