Duleep Trophy 2025-26: Tilak Varma to lead South Zone, check other full squads

The Duleep Trophy 2025-26 will be played from August 28, and the final will be held on September 11 in Bengaluru.

The 2025-26 Indian domestic season is set to begin on August 28, with the Duleep Trophy, and all the squads have been named for the prestigious tournament. And once again, it will be played zone-wise, the original format of the cup. That means, unlike last year, where the team were classified as IND A, B, C, D.. now they would, like the earlier seasons, be represented by zones.

Talking about the 2024-25 season, it was a memorable one for India A, who went on to lift the Duleep Trophy, after beating India C in the final. When it came to individual performances, it was India Cs Anshul Kamboj, who had emerged the highest wicket-taker (16), while Ricky Bhui (359) was the highest run-getter, who played for India D.

Coming to this season, the tournament will be played only at a single venue, the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, including the final on September 15. Interestingly, with six teams in the fray, two are in semis, while four will start their campaign in the quarters. InsideSport takes a look at all the squads this year, and also the schedule.
