ICC to fine India-Pakistan players

The ICC has fined Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf for using abusive language and making aggressive gestures in the India vs Pakistan match on September 21. It’s reported that he’s been fined 30% of his match fee. Sahibzada Farhan has been let go with a warning for his celebration. Suryakumar Yadav is expected to get fined after the India vs Pakistan final.

Samson fires before Asia Cup final

Sanju Samson was finally slotted to bat at number 5, and he paid Suryakumar Yadav and Gautam Gambhir back for showing faith in him. Samson played a 39-run knock from 23 balls, ensuring Team India capitalised on a good start and posted a big total on the board. His coming back to form bodes well for the India vs Pakistan final.

Mohammad Kaif has replied back to Jasprit Bumrah after the latter took offence to the former’s insinuation that the pacer’s body isn’t fit for bowling even four overs in the Asia Cup. Kaif wrote back saying that his comments come from a good place and that he holds Bumrah in high regard.
