PCB has written to ICC regarding the handshake gate. They have informed people concerned about how Team India players should act on September 21 during the India vs Pakistan match. Speaking of that match, Jasprit Bumrah shouldn’t play in the game, suggests a legend. Was Sanju Samson playing for himself against Oman? In the same game, Arshdeep Singh scripted history. And Dunith Wellalage has suffered an unfortunate personal loss.

PCB warning Team India
Pakistan isn’t keen on shaking hands with the Indian team. But they won’t be disrespected like last time. On September 14, India didn’t just refuse to shake hands but also closed the dressing room door in their faces. PCB wants the ICC to tell them in advance about whatever the Indian team has decided on the matter.

Bumrah to be rested for Pakistan match?
Sunil Gavaskar thinks that Team India shouldn’t play Jasprit Bumrah in the India vs Pakistan match on September 21. The cricket legend reckons Bumrah should be rested against Pakistan to ensure that he’s available for bigger matches like the Asia Cup Final.

Wellalage undergoes personal tragedy
Moments after winning the match against Afghanistan, Dunith Wellalage was informed that his father, Suranga, had died in Colombo at the age of 54 due to a heart attack. However, Wellalage will return on the day of the Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh match, leaving his mourning family behind.

PCB hits back at ICC
ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta had written to the PCB regarding Pakistan media manager Naeem Gillani using a phone in the Players’ and Match Officials’ Areas (PMOA) to record a meeting between Andy Pycroft, Salman Ali Agha, and Mike Hesson. The PCB has responded back, claiming that his access was authorised and if anyone’s at fault, it should be the best match referee, Pycroft, for allowing them to do so.

Samson being selfish?
Sanju Samson played poorly and peculiarly against Oman. Promoted to number 3, he scored 56 runs from 45 balls. After struggling to get going for a little while, Samson didn’t try much to go big and looked to rotate the strike rate. This led one to think about whether Samson was ensuring he scored some runs and got picked for future games.

Arshdeep Singh creates history
Arshdeep Singh has become the first Indian bowler to take 100 wickets in T20I cricket. In his 64th match, the left-arm pacer reached the milestone. Arshdeep is the fourth fastest bowler to reach triple figures and the quickest among fast bowlers.
