T20 World Cup from February 7
As per a report in Cricbuzz, the T20 World Cup 2026 is slated to start in India and Sri Lanka from Feb 7 to March 8. Plus, the IPL 2026 will be held after a 10-day gap, from March 15. That said, the schedule is yet to be announced for both the tournaments.

Dewald Brevis & Aiden Markram most expensive
On Tuesday, in the SA20 auction, much-in-demand players Dewald Brevis and Aiden Markram were bagged for record-breaking prices. First, SA skipper Aiden Markram went for a whopping INR 7 Cr to Proteas Superstar, to create a record; only to be bettered by Brevis, who fetched INR 8.3 Cr for Pretoria Capitals.
