Sri Lanka cricket team will take on New Zealand in what is a must-win encounter for the co-hosts in order to fancy the chances of making it to the T20 World Cup semi-finals. The team were handed a 51-run thrashing by England in their first Super 8 fixture, leaving them at the bottom of the points table in Group 2. New Zealand, on the other hand, will be playing their first fixture in the Super 8 as their previous game against Pakistan was abandoned due to incessant rain.

As per AccuWeather, there is no chance of rain during the Sri Lanka vs New Zealand contest in Colombo. Mainly clear skies are expected to prevail during the evening and the night. A full-fledged game is on the cards and the fans will be in for a treat and a mouth-watering contest at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The maximum and minimum temperatures are 31 and 25 degree Celsius respectively.
