Record-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have unveiled their jersey for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. New season and new beginning for the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side, who continue to don their iconic yellow.
The CSK social media team posted yesterday that something new is likely to be announced at 7:07 AM IST on Sunday. The number seven, of course, belongs to MS Dhoni and CSK, with their hype video revealing the double delight of MS Dhoni joining the CSK camp while also sharing the glimpse of the new jersey. The video also featured the likes of captain Gaikwad, Ayush Mhatre and Sarfaraz Khan.

Soon, CSK also dropped the exclusive jersey video while also providing fans an official platform to buy the new kit. Fans can shop at CSK’s official website (chennaisuperkings.com). The official CSK match jersey is priced at INR 2399, while the fan edition is worth INR 1199. Both jerseys will have “Dhoni” written on the back.

The new jersey features the iconic lion in front like always. The traditional collar also continues. However, the camouflage design on the trap area has moved to the front in the shape of stripes that add uniqueness. On top of CSK’s logo, there are five stars, representing Chennai’s five IPL wins (2010, 2011, 2018, 2021, and 2023).
CSK have become the third team after the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to unveil their IPL 2026 kit. CSK’s new jersey is announced on the first day of their pre-season camp. Catch their training kit below as well.
