CCL Live Score: In the Celebrity Cricket League, on Sunday, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Bengal Tigers claimed an 8-wicket victory over Punjab De Sher. Punjab started off with a solid 111-5, with Hardy Sandhu smashing a quick 40 off 17 balls. In Bengal’s reply, Jammy Banerjee was the highlight, hitting a fantastic 65 off 37 balls, which helped them finish their inning at 110-2. The second innings saw Punjab stumbling to 82-7, despite Sandhu’s spirited 42 from 21 balls.
Bengal needed just 84 to win in their final innings, and they achieved it comfortably in 7.3 overs. Jammy Banerjee continued to impress with an unbeaten 24 from 13 balls, supported by Yusuf Chishti’s 22 off 16. Excellent bowling from Satadeep Saha and Ratnadip Ghosh put Punjab under pressure.
With this win Jisshu Sengupta’s Bengal Tigers are on the top of tha table, above Sudeep Kiccha’s team the Karnataka Bulldozers.
