Former champions Australia will play one warm-up match on February 5 to conclude their preparations after losing the three-match T20I series against Pakistan 0-3. Mitchell Marsh-led side has arrived in Sri Lanka for the T20 World Cup 2026, where they are scheduled to play all their group stage fixtures.

The Aussies are placed in Group B for the marquee tournament, along with Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Ireland and Oman and will kick start their campaign on February 11 against Ireland. While they are expected to cruise into the Super 8 with ease, their prime fixtures would involve a match against Sri Lanka.

What is Australia’s squad for T20 World Cup 2026?

Cricket Australia announced the final squad for the T20 World Cup 2026 with pacer Pat Cummins missing out due to an injury. However, Josh Hazlewood and Tim David are expected to be fit for the tournament. Hazlewood will miss out on the first few games.
