The schedule for the Asia Cup 2025 is most likely to be announced within the next 48 hours. The tournament will go ahead as planned from September 8 to 28 after India, Pakistan and Bangladesh resolved their differences in the Asian Cricket Council meeting that was recently held in Dhaka. Eight teams will be a part of the Asia Cup 2025 – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Oman and Hong Kong.
Asia Cup schedule in next 48 hours
As per Cricbuzz, the full schedule for the Asia Cup is expected be released in a staggered manner – partially on July 26 and the rest by July 28. The report states that designated hosts BCCI are working on the final draft of the schedule. UAE and Abu Dhabi have emerged as frontrunners to host the event.

Earlier, the BCCI had told ACC that if they don’t change the venue of the meeting, they won’t attend it. Furthermore, the cash-rich board warned that they won’t abide by any decision taken at the meeting either. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) and the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) were also expected to boycott the meeting.
The tournament is set to follow a group stage followed by Super Fours format. Asia Cup and ICC events are the only platform in which India take on Pakistan.
India recently got a clearance from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) over taking on Pakistan. The decision came after uncertainty over the future of the clash between the arch-rivals following the Pahalgam terror attack.
