Despite performing for India A and doing expectantly well in the India intra-squad matches, Sarfaraz Khan has found himself left out once again. With Ruturaj Gaikwad ruled out the IND vs SA Test series, the batter had a chance to finally cut. However, it wasn’t to be for the prolific run-scorer.
Dealing with the heartbreak of the non-selection, Sarfaraz Khan has decided to turn to nature for comfort. The batter is still a part of the India A squad for the tour of South Africa and decided to let off some steam by enjoying his time in the wilderness.
Sarfaraz Khan’s exceptional first-class record
Sarfaraz Khan has been one of the best batters in the last couple of years on the Indian domestic circuit. The 26-year-old has scored 3657 runs at 71.70 in 41 first-class matches, including a half-century against South Africa A last week. Safaraz also has 13 centuries and 10 fifties in 61 innings, scoring fifty or more runs in every 2.65 innings.
