His latest exploits came in the Indian Premier League. The Australian pacer won the battle of price tags by helping KKR lift their third IPL trophy. Questions were raised after Starc was bought for a whooping sum of 24.75 crores, but in the end, it was his bowling masterclass that helped the Kolkata outfits lift the trophy.

Starc has been having an eventful career. He appeared in the 2012 Big Bash League final and won it. His biggest exploits came in the 2015 and 2019 ODI World Cups, where he rocked the tournament. Starc ended up becoming the highest wicket taker in the entire tournaments.
Come the 2023 ODI World Cup, he emerged as the campions beating India in the final. In 2024, he joined Kolkata Knight Riders and helped the Knights to win IPL 2024. Such has been his charisma that he has never ended up losing a single final he has appeared.
