The Tamil Thalaivas are all set to participate in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 11. The Chennai-based team made its debut in 2017, and this will be their 8th season in the PKL. After some challenging initial seasons, the team has shown progress in recent years. Despite displaying potential in the PKL, they have yet to win a trophy.
The Thalaivas have focused on youth development and strategic player acquisitions. Known for making bold decisions with their squad, the Tamil Thalaivas made a significant move during the PKL auction on August 15-16, purchasing four players. The biggest surprise was raider Sachin Tanwar, for whom the Chennai-based franchise spent 2.15 crore rupees.
