The highly-anticipated Hockey India League (HIL) auction is currently underway, with teams involved in a bidding war to build a star-studded side. The men’s auction, which got underway from 2.30 PM IST will also continue on Monday from 9.30 AM IST. Each team in the HIL will have a budget of ₹4 crores to spend on players, who are divided into three base price categories: ₹2 lakhs, ₹5 lakhs, and ₹10 lakhs. The teams will be picking players over the next two days as they assemble their squads.
