Neeraj Chopra missed his second Diamond League title by a whisker, with his 87.86m throw falling 0.01m short of Anderson Peters' winning mark.

Neeraj Chopra’s bid for a second Diamond League final title in Brussels ended in heartbreak. His third attempt of 87.86m secured him second place, falling just 0.01m short of the top spot. Despite pushing through an injury, Chopra’s throw was narrowly edged out by Anderson Peters, who won the Diamond League with a throw of 87.87m. The event in Brussels proved to be a thrilling climax.
