PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 Season 1 has revealed its regional slot distribution. The main event will feature 32 teams, with India, Korea, Japan, and China missing from the lineup.

The PUBG Mobile Global Open aka PMGO 2026 Season 1 main event details have officially been revealed, confirming the participating regions and slot distribution. As per the announced information, India, Korea, Japan, and China will not have any slots in the PMGO 2026 Season 1 main event.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from June 2 to June 7, 2026, and will feature a total of 32 teams. Slots have been distributed across regions such as Southeast Asia, South Asia, MENA, Eastern Europe & Central Asia, Turkey, Western Europe, the Americas, Africa, and the host country.

PMGO 2026 Season 1 Slots Distribution Revealed

According to the confirmed allocation, the 32 main event slots are distributed as follows:

  • Southeast Asia (SEA): 5 slots
  • South Asia (SA): 3 slots
  • Eastern Europe & Central Asia (EECA): 4 slots
  • Middle East & North Africa (MENA): 6 slots
  • Turkey (TR): 5 slots
  • Western Europe (WEU): 2 slots
  • Americas: 4 slots
  • Africa: 1 slot
  • Host Country: 2 slots

This allocation confirms that India, Korea, Japan, and China are not included in the PMGO 2026 Season 1 regional lineup.

Indian team returned to global competition at PMGC 2025 in Thailand. That event marked India’s participation in a global PUBG Mobile tournament after nearly three years, with teams like True Rippers and Orangutan representing the country.

While the teams did not make a major competitive impact, India’s presence resulted in a noticeable increase in viewership and audience engagement.

Thus, many fans had expected India to secure a slot at PMGO 2026 Season 1. However, the official slot distribution has confirmed that Indian teams will not be part of this edition. Similarly, traditional PUBG Mobile regions such as Korea, Japan, and China are also missing from the lineup.
