BGMI New Update Apk Download Goes Live Today on September 11, 2025. Krafton the publisher of popular battle royale game, started rolling out the update on Android just now. Check out the download link and more below.

Here are the steps to BGMI 4.0 Apk Download follow:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your mobile device.
- Search for “BGMI” or “BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA” in the search bar at the top of the screen.
- Tap on the official BGMI app developed by KRAFTON, Inc.
- Tap the “Install” button. The app will begin to download and install on your device. If you already have the game it will show update button.
- Launch the game. Once the installation is complete, you will see a “Play” button. Tap it to open the game and begin the in-game download of resources.

BGMI 4.0 Update: Spooky Soiree Themed Classic Mode
Spooky Soiree Themed Mode: Explore a mysterious mansion with your ghost companion, Ghostie! Ghostie’s unique skills add a layer of fun to battles. Fear not if you get defeated–become a Prankster Ghost and continue supporting your teammates in battle!
BGMI Ghostie Abilities
Come explore all these haunted new abilities now!
1 – Ghostie: A ghost that follows you around during the match.
- Floating Balloon (Main Skill): Ghostie transforms into a balloon that lifts the player and lets them fly around.
- Guardian Shield (Main Skill): Ghostie transforms into a giant shield that can also be rammed into enemies to knock them back.
- Armorer (Passive Skill): Ghostie gains the ability to repair your armor. Upgrading the skill increases repair speed.
- Ghost Helm (Passive Skill): Ghostie covers your head when you stay still for too long or your head is attacked, reducing damage.
- Scan (Passive Skill): Hitting an enemy marks all nearby enemies within range.
- Boost (Passive Skill): Ghostie boosts your speed as you sprint.
- Heal (Passive Skill): Ghostie heals you and will help rescue teammates.
2- Prankster Ghost: Turn into a Prankster Ghost when defeated. You can keep fighting until your energy runs out.
- Bomb: Transform into a fast-moving bomb that deals damage and knocks back all nearby players when it explodes (consumes energy).
- Scan: Mark a player. For a short time, the marked player’s location is visible to everyone (consumes energy).
- Shield: Transform into a shield that blocks damage (consumes energy when hit).
Special Note: Ghost skills are scheduled to gradually become available two weeks after the version update. Skills won’t be available all at once.
