On May 31, 2025, S8UL unveiled its EWC 2025 lineup, which surprisingly featured the BGMI squad comprising Manya, Nakul, Ronny, Goblin, and Legit. This came as a surprise given the lack of official confirmation about a PUBG Mobile slot for India in EWC 2025.
Although PUBG Mobile is banned in India, Indian BGMI teams have previously participated in major PUBG Mobile tournaments, such as the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 and PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022.
