After four days of grueling competition in the Quarter Finals, where 64 of India’s top squads battled for dominance, the road to the trophy has split. BGIS 2026 Wildcard Teams
The Quarter Finals featured 64 teams divided into four groups. After a total of 24 matches (6 per group), the standings have determined the next phase:
- Semi-Finals Bound: The Top 16 teams from the overall standings have booked their direct tickets to the Semi-Finals.
- The Wildcard Contenders: Teams ranked 17th to 40th have moved to the Wildcard stage for one last shot at glory.
- Eliminated: Teams ranked 41st to 64th have been knocked out of the competition.

Wildcard Round: Format and Schedule
The Wildcard stage is designed to be a “second chance” bracket, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
A total of 32 teams will compete in this round:
- 24 Teams from the Quarter Finals (Ranked 17th–40th).
- 8 Teams from Round 4 (Ranked 57th–64th).
- Groups: The 32 teams will be split into 4 groups.
- Matches: A round-robin format will be followed, with each group playing 12 matches.
- Duration: The action will span 4 days.
- Qualification: Only the Top 8 teams from the overall Wildcard standings will advance to the Semi-Finals.
