BGIS 2026 Round 1 Qualified Teams Officially Announced!

The road to glory has officially begun! Krafton has finally pulled back the curtain on the qualified teams for BGIS 2026 Round 1. After an intense period of in-game competition and high-stakes matches in The Grind, the stage is set for the first major showdown of the main event. This year’s Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) features a massive ₹4 Crore prize pool, and the competition is already looking fiercer than ever. BGIS 2026 Round 1 Qualified Teams

The backbone of BGIS has always been its “open-for-all” nature, providing a platform for underdog squads to challenge the titans of the scene. From the thousands of teams that registered and competed between January 8th and 14th:

1,016 Teams have officially qualified through the In-Game Qualifiers. The qualification was based on the “Best of 10” system, where only the top 10 matches of each registered squad were evaluated to determine the final standings.

According to the official format, the bottom 8 teams from The Grind Group D have now joined the BGIS 2026 Round 1. These teams will have to fight their way through the very first round of the main tournament to keep their championship dreams alive.
