The BGIS 2026 is now getting everyone’s attention with the latest announcement made by Krafton. The stakes have never been higher for Indian esports players, as the BGIS 2026 Prize Pool money for the tournament has officially touched an astonishing 4 Crore INR. Half of the amount, which amounts to 2 Crore INR, was actually contributed by the gaming community itself via the “Discovery Island” in-game event.
BGIS 2026 Prize Pool Distribution
The winner of the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals will be able to walk away with a huge amount of money. The prize pool will be divided among the top 24 teams as follows:
- Champions: ₹1,00,00,000 (1 Crore)
- Runner Up: ₹50,00,000
- 2nd Runner Up: ₹35,00,000
- 4th Position: ₹25,00,000
- 5th Position: ₹20,50,000
- 6th Position: ₹16,00,000
- 7th – 8th Position: ₹14,00,000
- 9th – 10th Position: ₹11,50,000
- 11th – 12th Position: ₹10,00,000
- 13th – 14th Position: ₹9,00,000
- 15th – 16th Position: ₹8,00,000
- 17th – 18th Position: ₹5,50,000
- 19th – 22nd Position: ₹5,00,000
- 23rd – 24th Position: ₹4,00,000
As you can see, the reward continues all the way down to the 24th position, ensuring that all teams that make it to the latter stages in Chennai will be rewarded handsomely.
For example, teams that finish 15th to 16th will earn ₹8,00,000, whereas teams that finish 23rd to 24th will earn ₹4,00,000.

Grand Finals Venue and Dates
The BGIS 2026 competition for the prize pool of ₹4 Crore will now be held at the Chennai Trade Centre from March 27th to March 29th, 2026.
