Season 1 Storyline – Darkness engulfs New York as the Timestream Entanglement leaves Doctor Strange trapped in the Entangled Astral Plane, scattering the Darkhold pages. Dracula and Doctor Doom disrupt the moon’s orbit, plunging the city into eternal night and unleashing an army of vampiric creatures. With the world on the brink, the Fantastic Four join forces with iconic Marvel heroes, standing together in the epic battle to break the mystical darkness with science. Marvel Rivals Season 1 release date is 10 January 2025. It will bring a lot of new features, characters, modes, and more. Check out the list of upcoming content below:
- Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman arrive in Marvel Rivals on January 10! Human Torch and The Thing will join the roster later this season. Mister Fantastic and Human Torch join the game as Duelists, Invisible Woman takes on the role of a Strategist, and The Thing is introduced as a Vanguard.
- Season 1 of Marvel Rivals will feature three new maps: Sanctum Sanctorum, Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown, and Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park.
- The Marvel Rivals Season 1 Battle Pass is priced at 990 Lattice. Completing it will reward you with 600 Lattice and 600 Units. It features 10 Costumes in total.
- NEW SETTINGS IN SEASON 1 – Potato-tier graphics settings, Mouse acceleration settings, and Streamer Mode.
- Jeff’s ultimate is being reworked in Season 1 to give players more time to react to it.
- Doom Match is the new game mode coming in Season 1. It’s a “Free For All” match for 8-12 players that takes place in the expansive Sanctum Sanctorum map. When a predetermined amount of KOs are reached, the top 50% of players emerge victorious.
