Olympic bronze medallist wrestler Sakshee Malikkh broke down in tears while addressing a press conference on Thursday. She was addressing the media along with Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat shortly after Brijbhushan Singh Sharan’s aide Sanjay Singh was elected as the WFI President.
Sakshee Malikkh also threatened to quit wrestling if Sanjay Singh becomes the WFI President.
“We slept for 40 days on the roads. A lot of people from several parts of the country came to support us. If Brij Bhushan Singh’s business partner and a close aide is elected as the president of WFI, I quit wrestling,” Sakshee Malikkh said.
