WWE NXT New Year’s Evil Preview: NXT Championship
NXT Championship will be defended at the next week’s event. Champion Tommasso Ciampa will put his title on the line against young sensation Bron Breakker in what would be their second match against each other. Their last meeting came at the NXT Halloween Havoc, where Ciampa successfully retained his title over Breakker.

NXT New Year’s Evil Preview: Imperium vs. MSK & Riddle
One-half of the Raw tag-team champion Riddle will be teaming up with MSK for a 6-man tag-team battle against Imperium (WALTER, NXT Tag Team Champions Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner).

This would be WALTER’s first WWE TV match since losing the NXT UK Championship at the hands of Ilja Dragunov at NXT Takeover 36. Meanwhile, Riddle will be competing for NXT first time since moving to the main roster last year.
NXT New Year’s Evil Preview: NXT Women’s Championship
NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose will put her title on the line in a triple threat match against Raquel Gonzales and Cora Jade. Gonzales and Jade made their spot final in this match by defeating Io Shirai & Kay Lee in a tag-team contest this week on NXT 2.0.

New Year’s Evil Preview: Championship Unification Match
A unique Championship Unification match will take place first-time on NXT. Cruiserweight Champion Rodrick Strong will take on the North American Champion Carmelo Hayes in a Champion vs. Champion match. The winner will take possession of both titles.

New Year’s Evil Preview: AJ Styles to appear
Former WWE Champion AJ Styles is also set to appear at the WWE NXT New Year’s Evil event. He will be confronting Grayson Waller, with whom he has been going back & forth for quite a few weeks.
