Gears of War: E-Day Direct Will be Highlighted at the Event
Gears of War is an essential part of what Xbox is all about, alongside Halo and Forza. E-Day is a huge day for the Gears of War franchise because it’s a prequel set during Emergence Day.
By giving Gears of War an entire Direct, Microsoft is essentially signaling a major reset for the franchise. Similar to Halo Reach, delving into this pivotal lore event offers a new entry point for newcomers while giving longtime veterans the dark, nostalgic origins they have been craving.
Where to Watch?
In order to make sure that this 25th anniversary celebration reaches a massive global audience, the company confirmed that the showcase will be available in over 40 languages on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook Steaming (on Xbox channel).
In addition to that, the showcase will also include extensive accessibility features such as ASL, BSL, and audio descriptions. This is also part of Xbox’s efforts to expand its cross-platform ecosystem in burgeoning markets such as India, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
