PUBG Mobile version 4.4 transforms core urban areas into mythical ruins and adds new themed trials. In Classic Mode, firearms attributes and availability have been adjusted to improve the feel of combat and provide more tactical choices. WOW now features new Football Series resources and improved customization to help your creations be more personalized.
PUBG Mobile 4.4 Update Beta: Themed Mode
Urban Area Revamp: Four core urban areas (Yasnaya Polyana, Ruins, Ferry Pier, Mylta) have been revamped into magnificent mythical ruins. Among them, the architectural terrain of Ruins and Ferry Pier has been completely overhauled, while Yasnaya Poluana and Mylta have undergone partial overhaul around trial landmarks.
Coronation Location: A magnificent floating Island. After landing, you need to collect Origin Embers while competing with other teams for resources. Collect enough Origin Embers to ride the Sun Chariot and challenge the powerful centaur boss deep within the island.
Themed Mechanics
Honor – Complete various trials in matches to accumulate shared Honor for the entire team. Players with sufficient Honor and a high team rank will have the opportunity to answer the call and enter the ultimate hall of glory, the Crown’s Abode.
Themed Trials
- Prometheus’ Trial (High Honor, non-repeatable): In the four major transformed urban areas, light and guard the Sacred Fire to obtain lots of supplies and Honor.
- Spartan’s Trial (Medium Honor, non-repeatable): Defend the battle flag for a time and repel the invading minions. Gain enhanced attack power and the unyielding buff (delayed knockdown) on certain rounds to help you turn the tide of battle.
- Achilles’ Trial (Medium Honor, non-repeatable): Gain the ancient assault power to chase and smash phantoms in the scene at high speed for a limited time, and receive rewards based on performance.
- Icarus’ Trial (Medium Honor, non-repeatable): Utilize your leaping abiility to climb to the highest peak in a separate instance. Complete the parkour mission within the time limit to not only receive supplies rewards but also gain temporary flight.
- Gryphon Trial (Low Honor, repeatable): Kick the Gold Ball into the goal to get rewards based on your score.

PUBG Mobile 4.4 Update – Themed Items
Heart of Fury (Movement/Pursuit Item):
- Effect: Grants up to 2 high-speed dashes after use. Can be used for pursuit or quick repositioning.
- Attribute: After dashing, gain increased movement speed and damage reduction to the upper body, but legs become a weak point.
Spartan Flag (Tactical Item):
- Effect: Plant the flag into the ground to create a buff zone.
- Area Buff:
- Enhanced Attack: Automatically charges and fires an enhanced bullet that deals area damage.
- Unyielding State: Delays knockdown when on the verge of being knocked down. If no healing item is used during this period, you will be knocked down when the Unyielding State ends. If a healing item is used, you will restore Health and the Unyielding State will end.
- Note: The flag can be actively recalled, return automatically, or be destroyed by enemies, which all cause the item to go on cooldown.
Classic Mode Updates – Map Updates
- New Livk Spawn Island: You can now gather, warm up, and interact on Spawn Island before the match.
- New Weapon Availability – The Panzerfaust and JS9 are now available on Classic maps, and can be obtained as ground loot or purchased from a supply shop.
PUBG Mobile 4.4 Update – Balance Adjustments:
Sniper Rifles (Enhanced):
- New Attribute 1: Shot damage no longer decreases with distance.
- New Attribute 2: Shots cause additional wear to armor.
- This change applies to both bolt-action rifles and designated marksman rifles.
Assault Rifles (Weakened):
- Increased damage drop-off at medium to long range.
Shotguns (Adjusted):
- Shots cause reduced wear to armor.
- Increased bullet spread.
Panzerfaust (Adjusted):
- Increased explosion range (lethal range unchanged), but reduced backblast damage and range.
- Increased damage to vehicles.
World of Wonder Updates – Resource Integration
- Golden Shoes Skill Added: Allows players to perform a high-speed dash and get past obstacles by sliding.
- Zorb Football Vehicle Added: A football-shaped single-player vehicle that allows players to jump while operating.
- Portable Football Item Added: When thrown, it explodes and knocks away other players. It can be thrown from various angles.
- Afro Man Virtual Projection Added: A humorous Afro male character that can be used with the Virtual Projection Device.
Creation Feature Improvements
- Increased Resource Limit: Increased the maximum amount of custom resources that can be used in the current map, allowing Creators to use more resources to enrich the map’s presentation.
- Template Function: “Customize Emote” and “Value Block” in visual programming can be saved as templates to be reused.
- Player Tag Customization: The display text of player tags can be customized in visual programming.
- UI Optimization: All custom variables can now be displayed simultaneously in the visual programming interface for easier management.
