Epic Games has expanded the gameplay options in Fortnite Reload by introducing a Duos mode. It allows players to team up in pairs alongside the existing Squads mode. This update opens up new strategic possibilities for players. Check out the detailed information below:
Fortnite Reload brings DUO Mode
In this latest mode, when playing Reload in Duos, the reboot timers start at 12 seconds and can extend up to 16 seconds later in the match. Interestingly, the remaining teammate has the ability to reduce their partner’s reboot timer through combat actions: downing an opponent cuts 2 seconds off the timer, eliminating an opponent shaves off 3 seconds, and wiping an opposing duo reduces it by a significant 5 seconds.
The update also includes options for matchmaking with the “Fill” or “No Fill” choices, allowing players to either be paired with a random teammate or to play solo against other duos. This feature is particularly useful for those still looking to find their ideal “ride-or-reboot” partner, providing flexibility in how players engage with the game.
