WPL 2023: The Hundred Draft – Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues are the notable Indian players registered for 2023 The Hundred draft, which will take place on March 23. Kaur and Rodrigues have set a top reserve price in the women’s auction. The Indian batters also were one of the most sought-after acquisitions in the WPL auction. Earlier in The Hundred eight franchises announced which players they had retained. Apart from Kaur and Rodrigues, four other Indian players have registered for the auction. WPL 2023: Kaur, Rodrigues set the highest base price, Shikha Pandey, Deepti Sharma, Disha Kasat, and Kiran Navgire enter the draft without base price
Deepti Sharma, Disha Kasat, Shikha Pandey, and Kiran Navgire are the remaining Indian players to have entered the Hundred auction, but they have not set a base price. Kaur and Rodrigues have set a base price of £31,250 (INR 31 lakh approx). Laura Wolvaardt, Diana Baig, Lizelle Lee, and Dane van Niekerk have also entered. Overall, 148 overseas players are competing for 15 slots. The Hundred auction will be televised Live on Sky Sports for the first time since 2019.
Among the other notable developments, Robin Uthappa has registered for the Hundred Draft. He could be the first-ever Indian male player to play The Hundred if picked in the auction.

The Hundred Draft: Mitchell Starc enters the Hundred Draft for the first time
After snubbing IPL, Mitchell Starc entered the Hundred Draft for the first time. While most of the Australian players have opted out of the auction owing to Ashes, Starc is available with a base price of £125,000.
