The third season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is set to commence on February 14, 2025, with the Gujarat Giants facing off against the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, in Vadodara. The WPL 2025 will comprise 22 matches spanning 29 days. Following the 20 league games, the tournament will proceed to an eliminator and then the final. The knockout stage is scheduled to start on March 13.
Five teams—Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and UP Warriorz—will be competing in the tournament. The playoff stage of the WPL differs from that of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the WPL, the top three teams from the league stage move on to the playoffs.
WPL 2025 start date
