The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is all set to announce the squad for the upcoming IND vs NZ ODI series on Saturday. The three-match ODI series, which will see Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in action for the first time in 2026, will begin from January 11 onwards, with Vadodara set to host the first game. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia revealed when the squad announcement is expected.
What time will BCCI announce squad for IND vs NZ ODIs?
As per news agency ANI, BCCI secretary Saikia informed that the selection committee headed by chief selector Ajit Agarkar will meet on Saturday afternoon with officials from the board to select the squad for IND vs NZ ODI series. The announcement will be made after the meeting. Further, Saikia informed that the squad for the IND vs NZ T20Is will be announced later on.
“As you know, from January 11, India is going to play New Zealand in a three-match ODI series, and today, we have a meeting with the selectors, and in the afternoon we are going to announce the squad for the New Zealand series who will be representing the country. The T20I team will be announced at a later stage,” the BCCI secretary said.
