A furious KL Rahul was heard blasting Prasidh Krishna for not sticking to the plans as discussed in the IND vs SA 3d ODI

India cricket team star Prasidh Krishna had a forgetabble outing in Raipur during the IND vs SA 2nd ODI as he was the most expensive bowler. Despite setting a mammoth 359-run target for South Africa, the hosts failed to restrict the visitors as the latter registered a thumping 4-wicket win in what was a record chase. Krishna’s misery with the ball only compunded during the contest as he earned the wrath of captain KL Rahul.

Rahul screams at Krishna

In an incident that was caught on the stump mic, Rahul is heard yelling at Prasidh to not use his head and do as he is told to. Krishna was bowling to Tony de Zorzi when the exchange between the two took place. Rahul, who is never that animated on the field, blasted Krishna for deviating from the plans disucssed and bowling to the batter’s head despite the captain telling him not to do so.

Prasidh, nin tale odsbeda. Helid haaku. Helidini en haakbeku anta, adanna haaku (Prasidh, don’t use your brain. Do as you are told. I have told you what to bowl, do that,” Rahul is heard telling Krishna.

Krishna asks Rahul, “Taalege haakla (Should I bowl to his head?)” to which the captain responds, “Taalegela beda eega. Prasidh heli bandidini. Taalege haaktidiyalla (No need off bowling at his head. Prasidh, I just told you not do so and you are doing the same.”

Krishna finished with miserable figures of 2/85 from his 8.2 overs. He was the most expensive Indian bowler in the IND vs SA 2nd ODI, at an economy rate of 10.20. The best among the lot was Arshdeep Singh, who got 2/54, which too wasn’t good enough.
