India cricket team all-rounder Shardul Thakur has undergone a surgery and took to social media to update his fans. The Mumbai cricketer had a decent IPL 2024 season with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) before the side crashed out of the tournament. Taking to social media platform Instagram, Shardul Thakur shared pictures of his surgery from 2019 and 2024 and informed his fans that his operation was successful.

An integral member of the Indian Test team, Shardul Thakur faced a similar injury in 2019 as well. Despite performing consistently with both bat and ball, injury woes have marred Thakur’s career. However, Thakur is expected to be fit in time for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy where India will take on Australia.
