IND vs PAK: The players from both the sides did not shake hands after their three matches in the Asia Cup last year.

First, Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha spoke about the handshake with the Indian players, and now only a few hours later, Suryakumar Yadav has spoken about it. And as usual, it wasn’t in a simple yes, or a no. IND vs PAK play their third match of the T20 World Cup in Colombo on Sunday, and more than the match, all these side issues have taken precedence.

Handshake between IND & PAK players?

ON being asked the same question, Surya replied, “We will break the suspense tomorrow. Is the game important or this? Wait for 24 hours.” Apart from that Surya was also asked about the team combination and the form of the batters.

The skipper clarified, that the situation is quite similar to the Asia Cup and it will be tough call to make, which bowler to pick and which one to leave out. “It is going to be difficult which pacer to play and which spinner to play. It is difficult to pick. But we have a few combinations that has worked for us. It is similar to Asia Cup, we have a few tough calls to make.”

Washington Sundar in playing XI?

The 35-year-old also gave an update about all-rounder Washington Sundar. He said, “Washy joined the team and it means he is ready and good to go. I feel their spinners have been doing well with their combination. We have our plans to tackle them. We have a similar set-up as well. The pitch looks good.”

Meanwhile, there are clouds over the IND vs PAK match, as rain is predicted to hamper the proceedings. The Sri Lankan authorities also issued a rain alert, which hint at a possible wash out as well.
