India women’s cricket team will take on South Africa women in their 3rd match of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 at the YS Rajasekhara Reddy ADA-VDCA stadium in Visakhapatnam on Thursday. Harmanpreet Kaur and co. will be riding high on confidence, having beaten Sri Lanka and Pakistan convincingly in their earlier games. However, the INDW vs SAW tie is likely to be interrupted several times through the course of play by rain.

As per AccuWeather, an alert has been issued for heavy rainfall on Thursday, with 18% chance of thunderstorms during the day and 33% during the evening. The forecast predicts occasional rain in the afternoon, which means the start of play could very well be delayed. The maximum and minmum tempartures are 31 and 26 degree Celsius respectively. The air quality is unhealthy, as per the forecast.

There is 18% chance of rain before the start of play and 23% chance of precipitation during the first hour of the INDW vs SAW tie. Thereafter, there is 51% to 20% chance of rain throughout the afternoon, evening and night.
