Ashwin reached the 500 wickets milestone in the third Test against England, becoming the second-fastest player to reach there

The Indian Cricket fans were delighted as Ravichandran Ashwin rejoined the squad on the fourth day of the IND vs ENG 3rd Test in Rajkot. The experienced all-rounder departed from the India squad on Day 2 due to a family emergency, right after reaching the significant milestone of 500 Test wickets. BCCI President Jay Shah organized a chartered flight for Ravi Ashwin, ensuring his smooth and timely return to the team.
