On Sunday, Sri Lanka defeated India by eight wickets to win the Women’s Asia Cup for the first time in Dambulla. They won the match by 8 wickets.
India won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 165/6 in 20 overs. But in the 19th over, Sri Lanka emerged victorious thanks to an amazing chase spearheaded by Chamari Athapaththu, Harshita Samarawickrama, and Kavisha Dilhari.
