Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) lifted their third Indian Premier League (IPL) title in 2024 after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the fastest IPL final win. They won the match by eight wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on May 26. For KKR, their most expensive player Mitchell Starc rose to the occasion, claiming 2/14. Additionally, their most reliable all-rounder Andre Russell took 3 wickets while conceding 19 runs.
SRH were bundled out for the lowest total in an IPL final, scoring just 113. KKR chased down the total in just 10.3 overs.
