Team India is slated to take part in the Asia Cup 2025, without a principal sponsor for their jersey.

So, the Team India is finally in action again, after a period of no activity. The T20I squad assembled in Dubai for their first practice session for the Asia Cup 2025; what was striking is, their training kit did not have the name of their former lead sponsors, Dream11. The BCCI had to end the association with the fantasy gaming platform, after the new rules came into effect, due to the Online Gaming bill.

The Dream11 jerseys for the tournament were already printed, and had to be changed after the unfolding of these events. Since then, the BCCI to has invited fresh tenders for the lead sponsors of the Indian cricket team jersey, which should be finalised by the month end.

As far as the Indian team is concerned, the players reached UAE in batches, and started their training only on Friday. They are scheduled to begin their campaign on September 10, while they are slated to face Pakistan on September 14, with Suryakumar Yadav as the skipper and Shubman Gill as the vice-captain.

Meanwhile, India can face the arch-rivals three times in the competition, provided they both reach the finals of the tournament. There has been some resistance of sorts, about the fixture, especially what happened between the two nations in April and May.

Indian cricket team: Suryakumar Yadav (c), Shubman Gill (vc), Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Axar Patel, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakaravarthy, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Sanju Samson (wk), Harshit Rana, Rinku Singh.
