RCB cricketer denied entry into Lord's comm box during third Test? Dinesh Karthik clear the air

IND vs ENG: Jitesh Sharma played a pivotal role in taking RCB to their maiden IPL title recently.

Looks like, the Lord’s Test wasn’t great for the XI Indian players on the field, and some cricketers outside of it as well. A video is doing the rounds on web, where T20 specialist keeper-batsman, Jitesh Sharma can be seen struggling to the enter the comm box, during the IND vs ENG third Test.

Jitesh Sharma Faces Trouble at Lord’s?

The viral video shows, the security staff failing to recognize the Indian star, and despite repeated attempts, the latter wasn’t allowed to enter. At least that is what the video shows. InsideSport can’t confirm these developments.

Later, in a tweet, DK clarified that Jitesh wasn’t denied an entry into the stadium, but was trying to make an entry into the comm box, where he was invited. As far as the Test series is concerned, the action will now move to Manchester, where the match would commence on Jul 23. India is yet to win a match at the venue, having lost four in the past.

IND vs ENG Series Well-poised

Post that, the last match of the series will take place at the Oval, from July 31 to August 4. Team India is in search of their first series win in England since 2007, where they had beaten the hosts 1-0. Last time around in 2021, they had come tantalisingly close, where the series ended in 2-2 draw.

As per the WTC points table, Australia lead the charts, with three wins in as many matches, followed by Sri Lanka in the second place, and England in the third. India are fourth, while New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa are yet to play their first matches.
