Vaibhav Arora

Vaibhav Arora, born on December 14, 1997, in Ambala Cantt, Haryana, is a rising Indian cricketer known for his right-arm fast-medium bowling and right-handed batting. He plays for Himachal Pradesh in domestic cricket and represents Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Vaibhav’s cricketing journey began with Himachal Pradesh, where he made his first-class debut in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy season against Saurashtra. His breakthrough moment came in February 2021 when he became the first bowler to take a hat-trick on his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, playing against Maharashtra. This feat brought him widespread attention and established him as a promising young talent.

His domestic success earned him a spot in the IPL, and in April 2022, he made his debut for KKR. He claimed his first IPL wicket by dismissing Ambati Rayudu of Chennai Super Kings. Arora continued to impress and played a key role in KKR’s successful title campaign in 2024, particularly excelling with the new ball.

As a right-arm medium-pacer, Vaibhav is known for his ability to swing the ball both ways, making him a versatile bowler in different match conditions. His skill set and consistent performances have made him a valuable asset to both his domestic and IPL teams.
