Naman Dhir, a batting all-rounder representing Punjab, played a minor role in their Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy triumph in 2023-24. However, his impressive performance in the Sher-E-Punjab local T20 tournament caught the attention of Mumbai Indians’ scouting team. Following his notable performance in red-ball cricket, Dhir turned his focus to the Punjab T20 2023 tournament, where he showcased exceptional batting skills. Accumulating 466 runs in 12 games at an average of 42.36 and a striking 192.56, he epitomized modern T20 batting.
