The journey to the IPL 2026 officially begins as the teams have announced their IPL 2026 retention list. For the Mumbai Indians (MI), it wasn’t that difficult, as they have a settled core. However, even the five-time champions needed to let go of some talent, which is always a hard call. However, MI have decided to release 9 players and now have a total purse of over Rs 10 crore for their mini auction.
