Hence, it is going to be a dead rubber before the IND vs SA Super 8 clash. India could rotate their squad, resting Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah for Mohd Siraj and Arshdeep Singh.

South Africa vs UAE: South Africa eased to a 6-wicket win over the UAE. They chased down a 123-run target in 13.2 overs. Dewald Brevis top-scored with 36 in the chase that was delayed by rain. The UAE managed to reach a meagre total of 122/6 at the end of 20 overs, with South African bowlers dominating the majority of the contest. Corbin Bosch bagged 3/12 in four overs. Barring a 45-run knock from Alishan Sharafu, none of the other batters managed to get going as wickets kept falling at regular intervals.
