Eventually they managed to score only 128/9. Post that India needed only 11.5 overs to post a 7-wicket win. Shafali Verma went on to score 69 from 34 deliveries.

After a resounding victory in the IND vs SL 1st T20I at Vizag just a couple of days ago, it is time for Harmanpreet Kaur’s team to continue the winning momentum. The Indians are head and shoulders above the Lankan counterparts, and the hosts would like to go 0-2, before heading to Thiruvananthapuram.

In their ranks they have Deepti Sharma, the world no. 1 bowler in T20Is, who would be eyeing 150 wickets in the format; apart from that all eyes will be on the Indian batting and if they can continue with their good showing. Vaishnavi Sharma went wicketless in her debut match, and would like to compensate on that.
