Mustafizur Rahman, after his KKR release due to the India-Bangladesh furore, is relaxed but disappointed. His captain Rangpur Raiders captain Nurul Hasan Sohan has revealed about Mustafizur in a recent press conference at the BPL.

While speaking on his YouTube channel, AB de Villiers sympathised with Mohammed Siraj on his exclusion from India's T20 World Cup 2026 squad and said: 

"We see Siraj in the ODI squad, he is one of the unlucky guys to miss out. But that is once again down to the balance. You have got Bumrah and Arshdeep. Harshit can hold the bat as well. So there are your three seamers. I think that is the reason why you went for Harshit because Siraj is only an outright bowler, and they do not want to focus too much on seam bowling."

ICC officials believe that the global body shouldn’t be dragged into the issue as it was a battle between the BCCI and the BCB.
