Karachi Kings recruit Kieron Pollard is currently on a four-day break from the PSL, to attend Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar, in India. Pollard, who is Mumbai Indians’ batting coach as well, has been associated with the Ambani family for a long time, first playing for them in 2010.
Pollard, meanwhile has been in excellent form in this PSL season for Karachi Kings, and is their highest run-getter as well. Till now, in five matches, he has scored 196 runs, at an average of 98, and a strike-rate of 161.
Having said that, Pollard is expected to join the team on March 4 in Rawalpindi, and will only miss one match against Multan Sultans on Sunday. He is expected to play against the Quetta Gladiators on March 6.
