With less than a week left for the India vs Australia T20I series, the Indian contingent has jetted off. Although the white-ball Down Under tour began on October 19 in Perth, the 5 T20I matches will commence on October 29 in Melbourne.
Team India leaves for the Australia T20I series
India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav shared an image with Tilak Varma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Shivam Dube on social media to confirm that members of Team India are leaving for Australia.
Team India are currently on a 9-match winning streak in T20Is, after winning two matches against England earlier in the year and then ending the 2025 Asia Cup without losing a match. Now, they come to Australia with the chance to beat Australia in the lead-up to the 2026 T20 World Cup.
