Time for the qualifiers before the big mega event! The ICC has recently announced the schedule for the Women’s World Cup Qualifier 2025, set to start on April 9, with Pakistan hosting the tournament.
A total of six teams will compete, four full-member teams, Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Ireland, along with Scotland and Thailand. Among them, the fight is for the top two spots, as only the top two teams will secure qualification for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
Speaking about the competition, a total of 15 matches will be played in a round-robin format across two iconic venues—Gaddafi Stadium and Lahore City Cricket Association Stadium—between April 9 and April 19.

Apart from the qualifier, if we look at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, this time it is set to take place where teams like Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and hosts India have already qualified by finishing in the top six of the 10-team ICC Women’s Championship (2022-25).
The marquee event is scheduled to take place in October and November this year.
