ICC Champions Trophy 2025 squad announcement: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is expected to announce the squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on January 18. While the deadline to submit the provisional squad to the ICC was January 12, the board had reportedly sought an extension citing the commitments in the recently concluded IND vs AUS Test series. While Mohammed Shami is expected to return to the ODI side, there remains a cloud of uncertainty over Jasprit Bumrah’s availability. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, along with regular ODI players, are expected to retain their spots in the side.
